Zinke Abruptly Resigns From Trump Cabinet

U.S. Secretary of the Interior Ryan Zinke is blaming "vicious and politically motivated attacks" while announcing that he will be stepping down from President Trump's cabinet.

With the Democrats taking control of the U.S. House of Representatives, it is possible the majority party could have been looking to launch investigations into Zinke's travel and political activity.

Trump will name a replacement for Zinke, perhaps as early as next week.
