It seems like each day, there is a new story about Montana and its growth.

While the "Montana Migration" has slowed down a bit over the last couple of years, people are still moving here, and the cost of living is still out of reach for many. Now, not all of Montana is overpriced, and there are still some deals to be had; however, if you're hoping to live by a lake with mountain views, that's going to cost you.

Living in Montana is a little different than other places.

While I would never compare Montana or its people to the arrogance of Texans, we do have a significant amount of pride here. And why wouldn't we? It's a beautiful place filled with hardworking, honest, decent people. Here in Montana, it's kind of like family. Of course, that's what makes this all the more interesting. Where is the best place to live in Montana? Before we reveal the answer, here are Montana's Safest Towns.

Which Montana city is the best place to live?

So, where is the best place in the last best place? According to CHCTravels, the best city in Montana is Bozeman.

Now, I realize that Bozeman is a bit of a polarizing town. The once small, cowboy town has grown to become a place filled with high-dollar boutique stores lining Main Street, with wealthy people coming to spend time in or around the town.

Other than Big Sky, I can't think of a place in Montana that has more "celebrity sightings", and while most locals will say "Who cares?!?" most of us do, or at least want to know about it.

The truth?

Bozeman has a lot going for it. It's home to Montana State University, there's a diverse population, and we have some high-quality restaurants and social spots. Plus, we're surrounded by some amazing outdoor adventures, and we have a fantastic airport just a few miles away. Are there cliché things about the town? Absolutely. However, I can't think of too many places I'd rather live.
