Expert Ranking Claims Montana Is Not The Best For This
Montana has been mentioned on several national lists, and usually, it's positive. It's not often that the state gets painted in a negative light. However, according to a new ranking, Montana isn't the best state for coffee drinkers. We were surprised to find that the list didn't include a single city in the state.
Is Montana a Good State for Coffee Lovers?
I love a good cup of coffee, and I rely on it to get my day started. Montana is full of hard workers, and many of them rely of caffeine daily. There are locally-owned coffee shops everywhere, and a variety of Montana-owned coffee roasters. I visit Ghost Town in Bozeman at least twice a week to get a delicious salted maple cold brew. In my opinion, Montana has an impressive coffee scene despite its scarce population.
WalletHub just released a list of the best coffee cities in America, and not a single city in Montana made it into the top 50. According to the data, some households in the U.S. spend more than $280 a year on coffee. Portland, San Francisco, and Seattle were named the best coffee cities in America.
We're not sure how Montana was excluded from the list because it's clear that Montanans love their coffee. In almost every city and town in the state, you'll find either a City Brew Coffee or a Florence Coffee Co. It's possible that Montana wasn't included because it's so unpopulated. If that is the reason, we're not complaining about it.
