A popular restaurant that some locals consider a Bozeman institution is calling it quits. You still have time to stop by for one last meal before they close.

Certain Bozeman businesses and restaurants have been around for a long time, and are loved by the community. Sadly, no amount of love can compete with the changing times in the city. Longtime businesses continue to struggle due to rising rent and other costs. Bozeman is going through a period of drastic modernization.

Hey there, fellow taco lovers. We have some unfortunate news. In February we will be shutting our doors and closing down. We would like to thank this amazing community for all your support over the last eleven years.

It has been an honor and a privilege serving you.

We will be slinging tacos up until the bitter end so come see us before we close! We also hope to reopen in a new location in the future, so keep an eye out for that! Several of us are going to start an AMA post on the Bozeman Reddit page where we'll share stories and recipes and answer any questions you might have, so be on the lookout for that as well.

We love you all and we'll miss you!
TM

Taco Monte's final day will be February 14, so you still have time to stop by, say goodbye, and satisfy your taco cravings.

The restaurant is searching for a new location. Its current location will be removed and redeveloped.
