A lot of things have changed since the last time David Lee Roth and Van Halen toured behind a brand new album together, but one thing will always stay the same: Diamond Dave is all about the love, man, and he proved it again last night (March 13) when he stopped the band’s performance in Manchester, NH to admonish some fans for fighting each other.
David Lee Roth has always been as much style as substance, and in an interview with the New York Post, he says today’s bands are lacking that proper mixture — an opinion he says is shared by other (unnamed) artists as well.

Van Halen have entered the studio to record their first album in 27 years with original frontman David Lee Roth. The last time the old gang all worked on new material together, the result was the 1984 LP, that contained the enormous hits Jump and Panama.
