From 199 entries, Belgrade artist Chuck Black won the 89-year-old competition with his stunning rendition of a northern pintail duck he first photographed in 2020 near Yellowstone.

According to the Facebook post, every year a mother duck lays eggs in the courtyard at Bozeman High School.

Ten confused ducklings in Fort Myers, Florida found themselves caught in the middle of a busy intersection. Luckily, police officer Glenn Eppler spotted the tiny tykes. With the help of an animal-loving passerby, Eppler was able to round the ducklings up and escort them to their mother, who was in a grassy area close to the road.
