Just because the seasons are changing and there's some snow in the mountains doesn't mean there isn't still plenty of time to get out for a great hike in the Bozeman area.
I love to travel as much as the next gal, but I've done far less in the last 24 months because it's just too expensive. 9 times out of 10 traveling can be classified as an unnecessary expense even though I'm a FIRM believer that traveling is good for you. Good or not, sometimes you just don't have the cash.
Bozeman has a serious case of Spring Fever. Almost every woman I know has turned at least a corner of their living room into a seed starting nursery, desperate for warmer temps so we can finally get outside.
All three Kenyon Noble locations (Bozeman, Belgrade, Livingston) are unveiling their Spring Fever Savings today. Start growing AND saving more green! Don't miss your chance to grab lawn and garden essentials, outdoor equipment, decking, fencing and more at great prices. The savings will only last through April 21:
I'm fairly certain (judging from their comments) that this video was taken by tourists but it's a beautiful example of mellow Spring skiing at Bridger Bowl. The season comes to a close on April 8th, 2013 so get out there, raccoon face!
Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks has announced their schedule of spring hunter education classes in Belgrade, Bozeman and Manhattan. Registration is required, and students under the age of 18 must have the consent of a parent or guardian. Complete schedule and registration information here:
Sitting on the front stoop with a good book. One of my fave things to do. HOWEVER, when your attention span is as short as mine you tend not to FINISH said good book.
We all know that Spring doesn't last very long around here, regardless of how long it lasts on the calendar. Could be beautiful....could be a blizzard. Who knows.
I'm certainly no ranch girl but I do love rodeos. A Spring Bozeman tradition is the Montana State University Spring Rodeo and an attendee got great footage of the wild cow milking. (Who thinks "You know what we should do? MILK A WILD COW!")
