Southwest Montana is in for another round of heavy snow, VERY gusty winds and dangerous travel through Monday morning.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch from late Wednesday night through Friday morning.

We've got a Winter Storm Watch for the Bozeman area! The surrounding mountains are expected to receive several inches of snow...perhaps up to a FOOT by Thursday morning. Are you ready to shovel?

Monday could be quite messy with several inches of snow expected in the lower elevations, more than a foot possible in the highest elevations and very gusty winds.

Yellowstone Park and Teton Pass could get another 30 inches of snow in the next few days along with gusty winds. Winter certainly is NOT over yet!

All of Southwest Montana is facing a Winter Storm Watch until 5pm on Wednesday with the the valleys facing up to 10 inches of snow and the mountains facing 20 inches possible!

Yellowstone National Park is under a Winter Storm Watch until Monday afternoon with heavy snow expected at times.

More towns in eastern Montana will be feeling the effects of a strong front Monday and Tuesday. Snow and strong winds may create very dangerous travel conditions for the Miles City area.

Scobey, Wolf Point, Circle and Terry will all be affected on Monday and Tuesday by a Winter Storm Watch for snow and blowing snow.

Montana's warm Fall weather will be turning with several Watches and Advisories becoming active. Red Lodge and the Beartooth Pass will be under a Winter Storm Watch until Tuesday evening for snow and gusty winds.

Higher elevations could see up to 2 feet of snow this weekend and travel through passes could be dangerous.
