We were finding a lot of pieces of petrified wood when something caught my eye. I picked it up and tried to figure out what it was but I'm still stumped.
Bold action by Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks in hopes of containing the spread of a parasite blamed for the recent fish kill on the Yellowstone River.
According to a press release from MT Fish, Wildlife & Parks, Mallards Rest Fishing Access Site (FAS) on the Yellowstone River south of Livingston and Valley Garden FAS on the Madison River south of Ennis have both reopened to the public.
Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks closed five Yellowstone River fishing access sites to the public Monday and Tuesday because of high water and flooding.
