Elle Fine

Elle
Now, I know this is a rock station but on Sunday mornings I get to do a show that crosses over a few lines. Basically, getting to scribble 'well'  and 'within reason' in a coloring book of my own making that has 'The MOOSE' written on the cover. The pages include new music, Americana, folk, alt country and acoustic rock, jazz & classics.  Join me Sunday Mornings 9am-noon MST for a fantastic  drive through the best easy going, 'perfect for a  Sunday Morning' tunes out there.  It's always a good ride.

Sunday Brunch- Montana Hope Project Fundraiser this weekend in the Madison

When the area looses a warm kind man loved by many, how best to honor his memory? How about a fundraiser for a group that grants wishes to critically ill children right here in Montana. Sunday Brunch- 4.8.12- Hoppy Easter!

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. (Corinthians- from what I understand)

A big congratulations to Lisa & Rich Ladoux, welcoming their baby to the world this week. Much love to you.

Sunday Brunch- 4.1.12- Spring & a playlist

Spring has officially arrived in the valley. We had a great rainy Sunday morning. One that requires at least some baking, stellar thoughtful tunes, a linger longer morning in pj's (or out) or even a delicious brunch with friends or family. One that brings to mind fresh new flowers and the songs of returning birds. If you are lucky and tune in at the right time, you may see newly hatched eaglets being fed by their mother here. Any way you brought in the day- may it be a great start to the new week ahead. Make it a great week. Thanks for listening this morning. Ill be here with you next Sunday, 9am-noon MST www.mooseradio.com

Sunday Brunch- 3.11.12- Sit in Sunday Brunch with Jim Averitt

What a pleasure it is to have Jim in the studio. He is a kinsman in his love of music and arrives prepared for epic shows. Yes, he arrives ready to put on not only one show, but two or three. I truly appreciate his enthusiasm and his ability to show me new things that have been off my radar up till this point. He is a font of knowledge, experience and fun. I think he needs to write books. Yes, he needs to write books. He is heading back into the studio soon to start recording the next Cd. His wife Karen sent along a fabulous lunch of Bison meatloaf, mashed yams and some of her bison chili. That is the same chili that is her name sake at the Flying D and at all Ted's Montana Grill locations. You know, even Martha Stewart has had occasion to marvel and compliment Karen's cooking. Once again, lucky girl am I. Thank you, Karen! Very thoughtful. Jim will be a Teds Montana Grill this Friday night with Sally Newsome. Don't miss out. Jim is part of the Ted's family and is a regular, he also books other artists for Ted's Montana Grill as well. ( to those needing a cool gig) Thank you for listening and Ill see you here next Sunday 9am-noon at www.mooseradio.com Till then, make it a great week. L.
