The Livingston Police Department just posted information regarding a high-speed foot chase involving "a very nefarious character" named Jake. Jake was a dog on the run this morning after "causing mayhem" around the lagoon in Livingston. He tried to ditch an Animal Control Officer by crossing the ice. Not smart Jake, given the recent unseasonably warm temperatures. Luckily, thanks to Livingston's finest, this story ends peacefully. Don't be like Jake.
According to the Montana Fishing Film Festival, this movie was made by Travis Bradford. Entitled "The Montana Warmwater Project", it looks like one we can't wait to see (although 2016 dates for the Festival don't seem readily available).
This quick, beautiful video was made by Brian Sorg at least 5 years ago but it still demonstrates the best parts of Livingston, Montana. The river, old buildings, the trains, the wildlife (and less traffic). They're all here.
It's not arrogant. It's simply true. Our trout are the most gorgeous trout in the world. I don't care WHERE you live. Montana fly fishing gets it's ego stroked all the time but the Montana FISH THEMSELVES are genuinely some of the prettiest creatures ever to swim the earth.
The Eagles in downtown Bozeman will host a Holiday Ball on Saturday, December 5, immediately following the Christmas Stroll. This fun and festive evening will benefit the Heart of the Valley Animal Shelter.
A private wolf sanctuary in winter was definitely a bold choice for a music video location. Watch what happens when folk singer Shawn James takes a fellow musician to this wolf sanctuary in Fort Collins, Colorado to record his cover of the A. A. Bondy song, “American Hearts.” At first glance, the end result may appear to be a low budget music video but continue to watch and listen. It only took one take to know they had something special.
