With no electricity. In the boonies. On 10 acres. If you need to CHECK OUT of society, this little place just east of Missoula looks perfect. Ray is this cabin's Superhost and he has been named the "Best New Superhost" for the entire state of Montana.

Comedy classes. Crafting classes. Live music. Dancing classes. Kids groups. Sauna sessions. Cornhole and a chili cook-off.

Oddly enough, this week it seems to be razors, hair products and pasta. The empty shelves where pasta should be might be a fluke as I haven't seen anything in the national news about the "Great Christmas Pasta Shortage of '21". The others make sense.

NEW YEARS EVE SHOW IS SOLD OUT! If you need a good dose of excellent bluegrass, look no further than The ELM on North 7th Avenue in Bozeman as the Kitchen Dwellers will be there on December 30th and 31st.

It's yet another packed week of fun events in the Bozeman area. From family-friendly to adults only, there's something for everyone in the family.

Montana made headlines last year with it's stunning parade of giant trucks fully lit up in Christmas lights and decorations. Thankfully, it returns this year AND with more opportunity to see the trucks and meet the drivers.

Santa is a busy dude this week around southwest Montana. Events, parties, strolls, sales, concerts...you name it. If it's holiday related, it's probably happening this week.

I really hope someone buys this joint and keeps it a hotel. Just my two cents but I've always loved that the Western Heritage Inn was a hidden gem of East Main Street. It's never been fancy. It's always been tidy.

This Saturday, December 4th is the 41st Annual Bozeman Christmas Stroll in downtown. There are a few changes this year and we've got the full schedule of events here.

You've seen them, right? Nationally based pages and groups trying to appear as local Bozeman experts. People that actually live here aren't having it and have not been shy about their comments.

I had the most pleasant experiences with some hard working small businesses this chaotic holiday week. We're busy. They're busy. Everybody is short-handed.
