Meeting new people in the Bozeman area can be hard, especially if you're not in college and going to parties. However, there are lots of events around the valley this weekend that are great opportunities to meet new friends. Practice that smile of yours and check out your options.

Your Saturday night just got more rockin'. One of Georgia's best bands will be playing The ELM on North 7th Avenue this Saturday, September 9th. A healthy dose of southern rock with thoughtful lyrics are the signature sound for this talented crew. If you're in need of a loud party on Saturday, this is your gig.

The Bozeman Public Library is perhaps the best in the state and has an incredible amount of programs and resources available to you and me. Coming soon, is a new addition that could be an incredible tool for some in the community.

Ok, one old lady in a Chrysler did. But we hung out for one solid hour near the speed check placed by BPD and she was the ONLY one.

Plan ahead for this one - Wednesday, September 6th will see the Young Dubliners returning to Bozeman with a special show at The ELM on North 7th Avenue. These Irish rockers have been a force for 30 years, and they've always found a way to return to the town that helped their career take off. They love Bozeman, and Bozeman loves them.

Trust me when I say that Kagy Boulevard is going to continue it's annoying growth pattern and increased traffic, so the sooner Bozeman makes friends with the on-demand pedestrian crosswalks, the better. But Bozeman drivers need to understand when and how long they need to stop at these handy crosswalks.

I'm not sure there's a pumpkin spice latte 'season' anymore, since just about everything seems to have a flavorful version of the original beverage. Lovers of the popular flavor can rejoice in the availability, and there are those of us who simple shake our head because we're not ready for Fall.

With his 1972 Fender Telecaster Thinline electric, Tab Benoit and his flavor of rocking Delta blues is absolutely not to be missed. Every time I've had the chance to catch him live, I find myself staring a little more than dancing. It's a bit hypnotizing, and so very good. Tab Benoit has a tour date in Bozeman on Monday, August 28th. Plan accordingly.

If you're into RV life, van life, or camping amongst others, Montana has many excellent RV Parks to choose from. They're vastly different and offer an array of amenities from outdoor pools, playgrounds, seclusion, or creeks that run right through the property.

Before everyone heads back to school and regular schedules, have some fun Bozeman style with friends and family at any of these great free or cheap events this week. They're all family friendly, but kids not required. LOL.

Bozeman hasn't exactly been known as a ceviche hub - until now? For those of us who daydream about seafood treats such as ceviche, there is fantastic news in the form of a new restaurant located in Four Corners. Custom made Ecuadorian ceviche. It's pretty much all they do.

When you think of all the rich and famous people who now call Montana home, at least part-time, this well-known billionaire isn't on the list - but I wish he was. Although his companies do have major business dealings in Montana, I couldn't find any search evidence that he's got residential property here.
