A storm chaser from Illinois by the name of Jesse Risley was in Northern Montana on Tuesday evening when some severe weather hit. Risley caught a rare Montana tornado on video that struck Chouteau County near Big Sandy. Check it out.
Everybody in Bozeman knows it, but NOBODY seems to adhere to it....the June 1st "OK" date to plant stuff outside. I'm just as guilty as anyone because after a long Bozeman winter, I need color on my front porch.
With a Winter Weather Advisory in effect for Bozeman through much of this Memorial Day weekend, how will you celebrate? Are you gettin' outta dodge?, Staying indoors?, or just firing up the ol' grill anyway?
As of right now, the expected high for this Saturday is 48 degrees with a 70% chance of rain. This is Montana...so what better way to celebrate Spring? Join the Moose at Planet Natural on North Rouse in Bozeman as we broadcast live for their big Spring party!
Every Spring in Bozeman I look for that week (hopefully not TOO early) that Mother Nature is calling for quite a bit of rain...and the next several days look GREAT to lay down some grass seed and fill in any patches. Lazy lawn care, if you will.
