You don't have to spend a lot of money to have tons of fun this week before Christmas in the Bozeman area. We found the best events that are either free or very, very inexpensive to get in. Some are very kid friendly, too.

Wednesday, December 20th - Kids Holiday Extravaganza at Cancer Support Community Bozeman: (102 South 11th Ave, Bozeman) A day full of crafts, learning, cooking, and games for kids ages 5 to 12. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED via the link above or by calling 406-582-1600. Parents may drop off the kids at 9:30am and pick them up at 3:00pm.

Thursday, December 21st - Spirits Tasting with Spotted Bear Spirits at Magic Diamond Casino: (19th and Kimberwicke Street, Bozeman) Happening 4pm to 6:30pm, just off North 19th. Spotted Bear Spirits proudly produces an array of spirits from Whitefish, Montana which use organic & local ingredients whenever possible.

Thursday, December 21st - Fork and Spoon Christmas Sing-a-Long: (NEW LOCATION at 206 East Griffin Drive, Bozeman) Happening 5pm to 7pm. Join Jordan Komoto's Rock and Roll Piano Show at Fork & Spoon's new location, 206 East Griffin Drive, for dinner and some holiday piano sing-a-long fun.

Friday, December 22nd - Toys For Tots Band Roulette at The Filler: (2005 North Rouse Ave, Bozeman) There's technically no cover charge but you WILL need to bring a new, unwrapped toy valued at more that $10 to get in. It's a benefit for Toys For Tots with 14 local musicians! The event starts at 7pm and is 21+.

Saturday, December 23rd - Saturday Afternoon Jazz at Bozeman Public Library: (626 East Main Street, Bozeman) Happening 2pm to 4pm. Hosted by Craig Hall, upstairs at the library. Craig will be joined by a different area player each week. “We’ll play jazz, folk, pop and some electric space music.” This week, Craig will have vibraphonist Silas Stewart.

Sunday, December 24th - Cars and Coffee at Duke's Café in Belgrade: (220 South Broadway, Belgrade) Happens from 8am to 10am. Casual gathering of anyone who loves cars and engines. Meet some new friends who share the same interest. Every Sunday, regardless of weather. Anyone is welcome.
