Laundry rooms and entry closets around Bozeman have suddenly become fodder for the latest episode of Hoarders due to extreme temperatures and blizzard conditions.

Residents have postponed their weekly recycling trips with hopes for "better weather next weekend". The resulting loss in livable square footage have caused family discourse and crankiness.

Mountains of aluminum cans. Pyramids of plastic milk jugs. Piles of cardboard that no longer lay flat on top of each other. Curious household pets have been terrorized by the toppling of pizza boxes.

It's like recycling Jenga.

Authorities hope the crisis will subside this weekend when temperatures are expected to rise into the 20s and families can begin the long process of reclaiming their homes.
