Monday is going to be another windy day in southwest Montana (and we thought this weekend was pretty bad.) Where and how bad?

A High Wind Warning remains in effect from 9 am Monday to
midnight MDT Monday night.

* Timing and main impact: westerly winds will increase early
Monday morning... becoming strong and gusty by mid morning. Winds
will then diminish late Monday night. Travel will be difficult
for high profile vehicles... especially along north to south
oriented roads... such as Interstate 15 and U.S. Highway 287.

* Winds: west winds of 30 to 40 mph with gusts to 60 mph are
expected for Monday through Monday evening.

* Other impacts: visibilities may be reduced at times in areas of
blowing dust... mainly through the valleys. Also... thunderstorms
may occur Monday afternoon... possibly causing wind gusts to be
more erratic in direction at times.

* Locations affected include: Battle Ridge Pass... Bozeman...
Bozeman Pass... Targhee Pass... West Yellowstone... Boulder...
Boulder Hill... Elk Park Pass... Homestake pass... Whitehall...
