Living in Bozeman certainly has its perks.

The beautiful views, the many outdoor activities, the Bobcats, and the safety we all feel.  The Bozeman Police Department and Gallatin County Sheriff's Office do a great job making sure that the city is well-protected, and it's easy to forget about all the hard work they put in.

Luckily for the residents of Bozeman and Gallatin County, there's a fun event just around the corner which will not only give folks a chance to say thanks to our local law enforcement but there will be tons of fun things for the whole family.

It's the 40th year of National Night Out, which is a great opportunity to get to know those who protect and serve. Not only will the kiddos have a chance to meet the officers and see all of the different equipment and how it works up close and personal in a fun environment, but they'll also have an opportunity to get their faces painted, grab a balloon animal, and enjoy a free snow cone.
