MSU Hosts Women’s Circle of Excellence Conference May 8
The Montana State University College of Business and Entrepreneurship will host the seventh annual Women's Circle of Excellence conference from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, May 8, at Riverside Country Club.
The conference helps develop women's professional and personal successes and includes a keynote address by Tamra Chandler, founding partner and CEO of PeopleFirm, who will speak at 3:45 p.m. Chandler will offer advice on developing a professional identity, enhancing leadership power and building a strong network.
Other conference sessions include: "Putting Your Best Foot Forward," with Jessi Smith, associate professor from the Department of Psychology; "Harnessing the Power of Technology," with Maclaren Latta, vice president of consumer insights at Bozeman based MercuryCSC; and a panel titled "Learning from Experience: Success Stories," featuring Chelsea Hecht, Maria Holden, Peggy Jennings, Jackie Sather and Kate Wiggins.
Conference registration is $55 and includes educational sessions, event materials, a networking reception, hors d'oeuvres and silent auction. Proceeds from the silent auction help fund a scholarship.
Certified public accountants may earn five continuing professional education credits.
