A pleasant drive south of Bozeman brings you to the historical quake site (and great fishing) of Quake Lake, and the visitor center has been remodeled.

Hebgen Lake Ranger District, Custer Gallatin National Forests invite you to explore the newly renovated Earthquake Lake Visitor Center, along with interpretive facilities surrounding Earthquake Lake Geologic Area and the new Yellowstone Association bookstore.

Friday, May 23, 2014 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Invitation Only Preview  12:00 p.m. Ribbon Cutting Ceremony; 1:00 p.m. Open to Public  Preview of Visitor Center.

Earthquake Lake Visitor Center, located at the west end of Earthquake Lake, 27 miles northwest of West Yellowstone, 99 miles southwest of Bozeman on Hwy 287.
