Looks like Rod Stewart's kids are getting their own reality TV show, despite his previous denial. The new twist is which kids will be starring on the E! program.

Initial reports said that Stewart was to star alongside his youngest offspring, who are ages 9 and 4, with spouse Penny Lancaster. But ABC News confirms that the new show – to which will be called Stewarts and Hamiltons – will focus on Rod's two children with his first wife, Alana Hamilton. Also set to appear is Ruby Stewart, Rod's daughter from his relationship with Kelly Emberg.

Stewart has eight children, which probably added to all the confusion at first. And this won't be the first time one of his kids has been on TV. Son Sean appeared in the A&E reality program Sons of Hollywood in 2007.

Stewarts and Hamiltons will also feature guest turns by George Hamilton, another ex-husband of Alana's, and their son Ashley, among others. The show will debut this summer, according to ABC News. Stewart was married to Alana from 1979-84; he and model Rachel Hunter were married from 1990-2006.

Stewart made his long-awaited return to pop music with 2013's Time, which went platinum in the U.K. He also took part in a partial Faces reunion in January during his 70th birthday celebration, performing with old bandmates Ron Wood and Kenney Jones. Their keyboardist, Ian McLagan, died on Dec. 3 after apparently suffering a massive stroke.
