Ryan Adams has been known to cover classic rock songs every once in awhile. At a gig in London, he invited Johnny Depp to the stage to help with a cover of Danzig's 'Mother.' A few years ago, he performed a beautiful rendition of Iron Maiden's 'Wasted Years' on a Dutch radio station.

And at his recent stop by NPR's World Cafe in Philadelphia, Adams and his backing band, the Shining, gave fans and listeners a treat in the form of Foreigner's 'I Want to Know What Love Is.' Listen to audio of the performance below:
