Although the Kings Of Leon had already churned out several solid records before "Come Around Sundown" arrived in 2010, this particular record made everyone I know fall for them. Even dudes were sold.

It looks like we'll finally hear something new from Kings of Leon towards the end of 2013. They're expected to release their next album sometime in September. What can we expect? Bassist Jared Followill says the band has finished recording it...and it sound surprisingly immature!?
The Kings of Leon extended family keeps on expanding. Drummer Nathan Followill and wife Jessie Baylin welcomed a daughter, Violet Marlowe Followill, as a belated Christmas present. Little Violet was born in Nashville on Dec. 26.
With the band on hiatus since late last year, the members of Kings of Leon have had to find new ways to stay busy. For vocalist Caleb Followill, the downtime has provided the perfect chance to start a family -- and for his brother Jared, it's jump-started a whole new band.
Kings Of Leon’s decision to cancel their US tour has at least one fellow musician concerned for them.
Between one epically bad concert and a cancelled string of tour dates, Kings of Leon have certainly been no strangers to unwanted publicity this summer.
But according to drummer Nathan Followill, you can put at least one rumor in the “untrue” column.
Talihina Sky: The Story of the Kings of Leon will premier on Showtime August 21st. According to Rolling Stone, there's a moment late in the documentary where drummer Nathan Followill, operating the video camera, confronts his visibly inebriated brother Caleb (lead singer), in a loud, angry manner. The tense moment apparently happened during the recording of "Only By The Night":
At this point, it’s pretty clear that Kings of Leon singer Caleb Followill was dealing with a lot more than just heat exhaustion when he left the stage during the band’s show in Dallas last Friday — and that the band was thinking about more than the weather when it pulled the plug on its American tour.
But as far as Robert Earl Keen is concerned, the next time around, the band should think of a better excuse.
Last Friday, Kings of Leon had to cut short their Dallas concert when singer Caleb Followill left the stage due to heat exhaustion.
Now, the entire current leg of the band’s tour has been cancelled — and it sure looks like more than the heat is to blame. Uh oh.
At a Kings of Leon show in Dallas on Friday, lead singer Caleb Followill walked off the stage after telling the audience it was too hot to sing. His abrupt departure after a few songs was blamed on heat exhaustion and dehydration. But on Twitter, band members hinted at other problems.
Alright, it's that time of year. The end of the year when we need to recap with "best of" lists. These get on my nerves very quickly but we need to recap the year's best music, no? Music needs to be talked about and shared
The Kings of Leon have just released their new video for "Pyro" which displays a darker side of Christmas (we're not all celebrating in sweaters with egg nog). This is one bar I wouldn't want to visit, especially during the month of December
