This last weekend was fantastic in Bogert Park. Free admission. Great bands. Fifty Montana artisans displaying and selling their work. In my opinion, there's another side to S.L.A.M. that really makes it special.

Getting your hands dirty. Trying new things. Creating a mosaic. Banging on African drums. Participating in the huge, free yoga class.

(I made the Bobcat Equality tile on the mosaic above!)

S.L.A.M. Fest goers were able to grab an African drum in the demonstration tent and try their hand. Sure, expert musicians were on hand to help but it sure was fun to see kids (young and old) give it a try.

Sunday morning was a great opportunity for yoga novices to take a class for free, right in the middle of Bogert Park. Sure, you did poses with 300 of your closest friends, but it certainly was cool to watch.
