This Montana Town Just Landed In The Top 10 For Best Run Cities.

Montana is filled with all kinds of folks and all kinds of places.  From really conservative to really liberal and everything in between. From farming and ranching to cutting-edge high-tech solutions, you can find a little bit of everything here in Big Sky Country.

Of course, we're known mostly for our outdoor recreation, as well as a playground for the rich and famous, but that's only part of the Montana story.

Most of the communities that make up Montana are smaller in nature, however, we do have a few cities and one of them just got a huge pat on the back as one of the best ran cities in the United States.

WalletHub has come out with a list of the Best and Worst Run Cities in The United States and you might be surprised to find out that Montana is represented in the Top 10 for the Best Run Cities in America.

So which Montana city is one of the best of the best?

According to the data, that would be the city of Missoula.  Missoula is ranked 10th in the nation for Best Run Cities. Missoula, or the "Garden City" is the 2nd biggest city in the state with a city population of right around 80 thousand.

The city is surrounded by beautiful scenery and has close access to skiing, as well as a hop, skip, and jump from Flathead Lake. Home to one of the state's big Universities, Missoula is filled with arts, culture, dining, and nightlife, however, that's not what went into deciding its high ranking.

Missoula wasn't the only Montana city to make the Best Run City list.  Montana's biggest city also made the list with Billings coming in 24th. So, for all of you thinking of moving to Montana, it seems both Missoula and Billings are excellent options.
