The City Of Bozeman Is Selling Compost Bins This Saturday At The Fairgrounds
The Home Compost Bin Cash & Carry Sale will be held on two days only. Come purchase your very own compost bin on either Saturday, May 19th or June 2nd from 1-5 pm at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds. You might want to pick one up at the Fairgrounds this Saturday after looking for treasure at the Super Garage Sale.

Military Members And Family To Get Free Entrance To National Parks
Active-duty military personnel and their dependents will soon be able to enter Yellowstone, Glacier and thousands of other National Park Service sites and public lands across the country. The Interior Department made the announcement today as part of an effort to thank service members and their families for the sacrifices they make.

FWP Appoints Madison River Citizen Advisory Committee
Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks announced today the seven individuals to serve on the Madison River Citizen Advisory Committee (MCAC). Members of the MCAC will develop recommendations for managing recreation on the Madison River. Their first meeting is scheduled for May 30th in Bozeman.

Ruby Dam Fishing Access Site Reopened
Ruby Dam Fishing Access Site (FAS) on the Ruby River south of Alder has reopened after a long-term closure which began in the summer of 2010. The site was closed during work on the Ruby Dam Rehabilitation Project. It will now remain open until the next phase of the project begins. Details here:
