Yesterday we told you about GRRR!, a new greatest hits collection from the Rolling Stones that will be released on November 12th. It features two new Stones' songs, one of which was released today. "Doom and Gloom" is the first new release from the rock legends since 2005. Take a listen here and tell us what you think:
The Marshall Tucker Band are gearing up to head to the 2012 Vice Presidential Debate tonight (Thursday, Oct. 11), where the rock legends will perform at the face-off between Vice President Joe Biden and Congressman Paul Ryan, when the two political figures go head-to-head.

Billie Joe Armstrong is still in rehab following his onstage relapse/flip out at the iHeartRadio Music Festival, but thanks to the magic of pre-taped television, he began his run as a mentor for Christina Aguilera on 'The Voice' last night. October 20, 1977 was the day Southern Rock literally crashed. A small plane carrying the band Lynyrd Skynyrd fell out of the sky and ended the original group's short but brilliant career. Founding member, frontman and lyricist Ronnie Van Zant will be remembered, 35 years later, with a "moment of silence".
