Extremely Popular Reality Show May Be Coming To Montana Soon

Thankfully, not all reality shows are created equal so it's not terribly worrisome that there are talks of one of the most popular reality shows might soon have a major Montana connection. Here's what we know so far...

If you think of petty fights, ridiculous semi-famous people, gross food challenges, yelling, and stupid family drama when you think of today's reality shows - you're not alone. Quite justified, in fact. because most of them are complete trash TV. Most of us would be less than thrilled to have one filming in our town.

It's important to note: The reason I'm aware of this Montana connection is because I know the Montana resident who is a candidate for a possible cast position. As of this writing, nothing has been 100% confirmed, BUT significant correspondence has taken place about her participation with emails, phone calls, and video calls.

There are plenty of reality shows involving relationships, and in my opinion, most of them are pretty terrible. But one of them is fairly interesting and actually has a little bit of legal education to offer if you're interested in that sort of thing. Falling in love is one thing - but falling in love with someone from another country can be a whole different ballgame.

Since 2014, reality show fans have been able to catch a show called 90 Day Fiancé on TLC. (There has since been a slew of spin-off shows from the original, including 90 Day Fiancé "The Other Way".) I (sadly) can describe this show in great detail because I do watch it - but this is what the official IMDb listing says about 90 Day Fiancé:

Using a visa that allows foreign fiancées of American citizens to travel to the U.S., the men and women experience life in the States with their prospective mates for the first time. Culture and language barriers must be overcome -- not to mention the stigma of being thought of as mail-order spouses -- but here's the elephant in the room: The couples must marry before the visas expire in 90 days, or else the visitors have to immediately return to their countries. With the clock ticking, these couples discover if their "happily ever after" is meant to be.

So, that's about all I can tell you about right now - a Montana resident is in serious talks to be a part of 90 Day Fiancé. If and when more details can be released, we'll certainly share them without spoiling any storylines. That's no fun for anyone!
