The Black Keys' new album "El Camino" is set for a December 6th release and it just might be their best yet. The new Keys album, which will be released on Nonesuch Records, was produced by Danger Mouse (and the Black Keys). In advance of the release, the album's first single, Lonely Boy, will be released on October 26th.

If you haven't already marked your calender to stop by a record store on December 6th (by local and go to Cactus :)!), check out this video:

The 11-track "El Camino" was recorded at singer/guitarist Dan Auerbach's Easy Eye Sound studio in the band's new hometown of Nashville during the spring of 2011. Auerbach had this to say of the new album, "I think where this record is going to shine for me is playing the songs live. This record is more straight ahead rock and roll - raw, driving, and back to basics."

I love everything these two Ohio natives dish out and am very much looking forward to the band's upcoming 7th release. For me, there is no other artist that cuts to the core with raw, dirty, blues and rock n' roll (often just what I need). My favorite album to date is 2008's "Attack & Release", their only other album produced by Danger Mouse. So yeah, I'm pumped.

Pre-orders of "El Camino" begin today, and include a download of Lonely Boy (which will be released on October 26th).
