St. Patrick’s Day is coming up fast, and you know what that means? You’ll soon be crawling through pubs, plumping up your beer belly and pinching everyone not wearing green. Even if you’ve already got your costume planned out, chances are your pooch is feeling left out.

The UK's Daily Mail reported on a new study that found the average dog causes almost 2,000 family arguments over the course of its life. Check out the top 20 reasons why. My wife and I have dogs and I'm pretty sure at least 5 of these reasons have led to an argument between us.

I came across a very interesting article today in the HuffPost Healthy Living (www.huffingtonpost.com). It gives 15 examples of how we humans can learn from our dogs to be healthier. Lessons include taking more naps, using our sense of smell more, being more passionate and welcoming, and learning to receive (just to name a few). Check out the full article here.

It’s hard to imagine one dog jumping rope, but 13? At the same time? That requires real talent and training. That’s why Uchida Geinousha, who trains dogs for the Super Wan Wan Circus has been awarded the Guinness World Record for dog handler to train the most dogs skipping rope at the same time.

This pooch was able to stay perfectly still as his owner built a Jenga-like tower of tempting dog treats right on his snout. Then the canine continues the balancing act until getting a signal that the trick is over.

Is that a hedgehog on the floor or are you just happy to see us?
