Australia's "Today" show decided to do an interview with internet sensation Grumpy Cat yesterday. One of the anchors actually asked him questions and continued to wait for a reply. About halfway through he couldn't take it anymore and laughed...a lot.

Everyone's favorite miserable cat is finally getting her own movie. No, not Garfield. There have been two Garfield movies already. Where have you been? But it has been announced that Tard herself, aka Grumpy Cat, is the inspiration for a 'Garfield'-like live-action movie.

To date, books, lives, records, songs, board games, video games, and coupons have served as inspirations for cinema (well, all except for the last one, that was just a 'Mr. Show' sketch). But now memes are joining that list as Grumpy Cat, the internet sensation, has been optioned as the subject for a feature film.

Happy birthday, Grumpy Cat! Can you believe that Tardar Sauce, the internet's least excited feline is only a year old? We figured she was like 115 in cat years. With Grumpy Cat taking over our computer screens, we figured it was only a matter of time before she took over our TV and movie screens as well...

My co-workers know I'm no fan of Grumpy Cat. It's ridiculous. But hey, I find a lot of other stupid things funny. What I DO find funny, is the massive line of people who showed up to meet this stupid internet sensation in Austin, TX for South By Southwest.
