When Jack White isn't wowing fans by incorporating classing cover songs into his own back catalog, he's leading them on clue-filled quests to super-secret basement shows.
I'm seriously starting to think (dream) that my daughter will have this little nugget for a future interview regarding the amazing music she makes..."my love for music probably began when my dad brought home Jack White's 'Lazaretto' on vinyl." Jack White is giving fans yet another taste of his new album, 'Lazaretto', due out on June 10. We've already heard the title track and "High Ball Stepper". Check out the latest, "Just One Drink"! The new album is shaping up to be quite a rockin' engagement.
Jack White, as always, is up to some pretty amazing things lately. In honor of Record Store Day last week, White put out the world's fastest record. He performed AND pressed to vinyl "Lazaretto", the title track off his new solo album, in less than four hours. "Lazaretto" has just been released, and it kicks some serious A!
On Record Store Day 2014 (April 19), Third Man Records will present Jack White recording the world's fastest released record (studio-to-store), in history!
Check out Jack White teaching Jimmy Page and U2's The Edge how to play "Seven Nation Army" on the guitar. Imagine teaching Jimmy Page anything on the guitar? This clip is from the Rock Doc "It Might Get Loud.":
There are 3 new music releases this week that I'm excited about. A newly released live album from a legendary group, live audio from a festival celebrating a legend, and legends paying tribute to a future legend. Intriguing right? Look out for these 3 newly released gems:
