Vote For Joni Ernst…Because She Used to Castrate Hogs [VIDEO]

The midterm elections don’t happen until November, but the wacky political ads are already popping up on YouTube. Like this one for Joni Ernst, who’s running for the Republican nominee for U.S. Senate in Iowa. You won’t believe what she opens up with in this commercial:

Although Joni was a Colonel in the Army and a state senator, the first thing out of her mouth in this commercial is, quote, “I’m Joni Ernst, I grew up castrating hogs on an Iowa farm.” Apparently, she thought this would be a humorous analogy relating to her ambitions for cutting wasteful government spending. I get it…but I’m definitely not voting for the ‘hog castrating’ candidate.
