This large front of colder temperatures, wind and snow is affecting much of western Montana is also having affects in the Billings area with rapidly dropping temperatures.

According to the National Weather Service:

WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM MST MONDAY FOR YELLOWSTONE COUNTY MONTANA.

  • IMPACTS - RAIN TRANSITIONING TO SNOW AND RAPIDLY FALLING TEMPERATURES WILL CAUSE SLICK ROADS AND POOR TRAVEL CONDITIONS TONIGHT.
  • SNOW SHOWERS WITH LOCAL ACCUMULATION WILL CONTINUE MONDAY.
  • SNOW ACCUMULATION - 1 TO 3 INCHES.
  • NARROW BANDS OF SNOW DEVELOPING ON MONDAY MAY PRODUCE LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS.
  • SLICK ROADS ARE POSSIBLE
  • TEMPS FALLING INTO THE 20S WILL CAUSE ICY ROADS.
