Bozeman’s Heather McPhie Going to Sochi to Compete in the 2014 Olympics [VIDEO]

Freestyle mogul skier, and Bozeman native, Heather McPhie has officially been invited to be a member of the 2014 U.S. Olympic Ski Team. The 29-year-old former Bridger Freestyle Skier was chosen despite dissapointing performances in her last two qualifying competitions.

McPhie placed 18th in women’s moguls at the 2010 Olympics in Canada. She will once again compete in moguls next month in Sochi, Russia. The good news was delivered to McPhie earlier this week despite lackluster performances in her last two qualifying competitions at Lake Placid and Quebec.

McPhie placed 4th at the 2014 Visa Freestyle International at Deer Valley. Check out this run:
