According to a press release just sent out on behalf of Stone Temple Pilots, singer Scott Weiland has been officially been fired from the band. The troubled vocalist is no stranger to internal conflict, and it seems that those days are far from over for Weiland, as he once again finds himself out of a job.

February 21, 2013 The Awesome Idea of the Decade Award goes to Indie band Darwin Deez.They just put out a new music video for a song called "You Can't Be My Girl", made entirely of royalty-free stock footage. The makers of the Mini Cooper were behind the stunt, which was performed on snow at a ski resort in the French Alps. Mini claims it's a first, and no one seems to be refuting it.
