Let's talk food. If you are like me and love a good hearty meal that is reasonably priced and has you already planning your next trip back, then look no further.
The Daily Meal has come out with a list of the Best Casual Dinning Restaurants in every state, and this list seems to be pretty accurate. As I scrolled through each state, I have actually tried a few of these and couldn't agree more.
Let's start with surrounding states. If you are on a road trip, you will have to add these to your breakfast, lunch or dinner stops. You won't be disappointed.
NORTH DAKOTA
While visiting the state capitol, Bismarck, you can stop into Kroll's Diner for a quick casual bite to eat, all while enjoying the old fashioned atmosphere.
SOUTH DAKOTA
Whether you are looking for breakfast, lunch or dinner, Phillips Avenue Diner, located in the heart of Sioux Falls, has made the spotlight numerous times in national polls for "best in South Dakota".
WYOMING
If you make a stop in Cheyenne on your road trip, it would be a disaster to miss out on one of Wyoming's most popular pizza spots. Wood fire pizza has it's own delicious taste, and this place looks top notch.
IDAHO
Whether you are craving a burger, salad, tacos, or just a few appetizers with friends, it seems as though Bittercreek Ale House will be able to satisfy all of your needs. This gem is located in beautiful Boise, Idaho.
MONTANA'S BEST CASUAL RESTAURANT
Located in the largest city in Montana, Billings, you will find this burger lovers paradise. Recently placed on the list for "Best Burgers In MT", you can see why The Burger Dive will forever be a Montana favorite.
It's no shocker that Montana is full of wonderful restaurants, this is just one more to add to that list of must-tries.
