Children in kindergarten through fifth grade (and their families) are invited to attend “Frankenscience,” a FREE Halloween-inspired science event that will be held Sunday, October 26, at Montana State University.

Frankenscience is sponsored by MSU’s Undergraduate Chemistry Society. This free public event will run from 1 - 3 pm on the second floor of Gaines Hall.

Frankenscience will offer safe demonstrations and hands-on activities. Attendees can look for ghosts and goblins created by steam and oxygen gas, watch exploding pumpkins, reappearing pumpkins, orange juice turning into strawberry floats, eat liquid nitrogen ice cream, create slime and much more!

All activities will be supervised by trained chemists. Tour guides will lead everyone through the demonstrations. Safety glasses will be provided.

Gaines Hall is located along Grant Street, across from the Marga Hosaeus Fitness Center (between Romney Gym and the Visual Communications Building).
