Law Enforcement Discovers Missing Man in Hyalite Canyon

The body of a man reported missing in Bozeman was found yesterday morning in Hyalite Canyon. Details here.

According to the Gallatin Media Center:

On August 25, 2015 at approximately 10:00 am, the Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue Team located the remains of 51 year-old Jordi Duffy of Parap, Australia.  Mr. Duffy was found near a roadway in Hyalite Canyon.

At this time his death appears to be from natural causes.  The Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office, Bozeman Police Department, and the Gallatin County Coroner’s Office are still investigating the case.  Mr. Duffy’s body will be taken to the Montana State Crime Lab in Missoula for an autopsy.
