Sometimes the planets just align for you, you know? (how narcissistic can you get right?). It just seems like some days, for whatever reason, everything either goes your way or it doesn't. I'm always scouring that bright side before giving into a "bad day". It's more common for me to have a good day because it doesn't take much to make me happy. I'm always talking about the little things,  because it's those that truly do it.

I'm feeling like a million bucks today, like a right merry gentleman (if I may?) and I don't exactly know why. I can't point to one or two major things, just a series of little things. It's Friday, for one (that always helps). I'm gonna get back out there on the lifts tomorrow and enjoy some perfect spring skiing. I'm opting for that over watching a Saturday baseball game in the Bronx (for the first time in a long time) by the way. That's o.k., because there will be 160 games left this season after that and the game I really need to see is tomorrow night. I'll get home in time to watch the Uconn Huskies play in the Final Four for the first time in a long time! (it's probably pretty obvious but I'm a big sports fan from Connecticut who loves the Yankees and Huskies).

What else? Good times with some friends tonight probably and oh yeah, more skiing on Sunday. At this moment, life is pretty good. I just went to Home Page Cafe in Bozeman on my way home from work and grabbed a coffee and the most delicious cupcake I've probably ever had (little things, winning, duh). I'm eating it right now and actually it's no little thing, it's homemade. A masterpiece. I'm gonna get back to that and my perfect simple life. Keep it positive.
