Was your New Year's resolution to rid your house of junk you don't need? If you haven't done it yet, it's probably because you just don't know where to start. Here's a handy list from The Huffington Post of 37 things you definitely don't need to keep any longer:

I'll just supply the items on the list that relate to me. I know I should get rid of:

  • Anything in your freezer that you don't recognize
  • Stained T-shirts left over from college
  • All the receipts in your wallet
  • Stack of old magazines you've saved (thinking you'd reread the articles sometime)
  • Expired coupons
  • Old textbooks (whatever you learned in college is probably outdated now)
  • Crappy paperback novels you'll never read again
  • VHS tapes and DVDs that didn't change your life
  • Expired medicines
  • Office supplies you never use
  • Any tupperware without a lid
  • Instruction manuals for appliances you already know how to use
  • Cables and cords that don't go with anything
  • Your stash of extra chopsticks from ordering Chinese takeout
