I was proud to once again support Huffing For Stuffing this year. The Huffing For Stuffing Thanksgiving Day Run Committe is proud to report a record breaking 5th annual event! Here are some final tallies.

This event is 5 years strong. It has become a Bozeman tradition. Thanks to the vision of two local runners, John Dudas and J.C. They both moved here from other parts of the U.S. and have made Bozeman home. Thanks to them, we now have this perfect event, on the perfect day for the perfect cause...

Gallatin County residents in need this holiday season turn to the Gallatin Valley Food Bank...but only if people like you and me donate our extra resources. And I'm convinced that MOST of us can.

The 12th annual "Can the Griz Food Drive" is going on right now and lasts until kick-off of the Cat/Griz game on Saturday, November 19, 2011. Help MSU take down the U of M in this epic annual food drive! We don't like to lose to those guys in anything, especially in a display of good will. Help our local food bank reach this year's goal of 32,000 pounds of food raised!

What better time to give back to your community by helping those in need? The Moose is once again proud to sponsor the annual Huffing For Stuffing Thanksgiving day run in Bozeman.

Desert Rose in Belgrade is having their 3rd annual Haunted House from October 28-31 to support the KidsPack Program at Heck/Quaw Elementary, which provides weekend food for families in need. In addition, they're having a family movie night this Saturday, October 29th where they'll play a kid-friendly movie at no cost!

Gallatin Roller Girlz, the first women's roller derby league based in the Gallatin Valley, invites the community to attend their Derby Bash. This costume party/fundraiser will take  at Scissorbills in Big Sky Mountain Village this Saturday night (October 22, 2011).

It's Thanksgiving and it's a time to give back to those in need. I know it's nasty out there with Blizzard Warnings, Storm Warnings and Wind Chill Advisories but that should be all the more reason to help out those who have less than you do...
