The 5th Annual Montana Beer Festival

This year's Montana Beer Festival is right around the corner, 2 weeks from Friday (April 8th) at The Gallatin County Fairgrounds. Got tickets? Pick them up now at either Cactus Records, Tarantino's Pizza, or online at mtbeerfest.com

The MT Beer Fest has their own cool website with all the info you need about this year's festivities. Check out mtbeerfest.com, you'll find the list of breweries on display this year. Some of my absolute favorite beers in the world are brewed right here in Montana and will be flowing at the Fairgrounds on April 8th (I'm particularly excited to be served Neptune's Brewery, Red Lodge Ales and of course Madison River Brewing Co.)

This year's music schedule should also not disappoint. When you purchase your ticket, you're not only gaining access to a stellar beer tasting but live music from 4 bands. Music this year from Mr. Downtown, In Walks Bud, One Leaf Clover, and Dub Sultan. 

Make sure you drink responsibly of course. Most importantly, make sure you have a designated driver. To help coerce a D.D., let him/her know about the new lounge for the  designated drivers this year. D.D.'s will need to take a breathalyzer to gain access to the lounge, where they'll have their own food and music.
