2015 ‘Music in the Mountains’ Wraps Up in Big Sky This Thursday, August 27

The Arts Council of Big Sky will be ending the 2015 free summer concert season, Music in the Mountains, on Thursday, August 27 when the groovy, funk sounds of Euforquestra invade Town Center Park.

Music in the Mountains offers food vendors, beer, wine and great music from nationally touring bands. Concerts are FREE and take place outdoors at Center Stage in Town Center Park. Park opens at 6 p.m., music starts at 7 p.m.

The 2015 season wraps up on Thursday, August 27 with free music from Euforquestra. Originally from Iowa City, IA, Euforquestra relocated to Fort Collins, CO in August 2008 and has made a splash on the Colorado music scene with its progressive, genre-crossing funk fusions and a relentless tour schedule. They offer self-proclaimed “Afro-Caribbean-Barnyard-Funk. Bring your dancing shoes!
