5 Awesome Spring Day Trips to Take Around Bozeman
Montana is a gorgeous state. My favorite time of year is spring when everything starts to turn green. Another great thing about spring is that the water levels are a lot higher, which makes for excellent waterfall viewing.
Here's a list of some fun things to do that are pretty close to Bozeman.

Hylalite Reservoir is a quick trip south from Bozeman. It may be a couple months before all of the snow melts off, but there will be plenty of sights to see. Palisade Falls is very close to the main road, and the hike is around a 1/2 mile. There are other great waterfalls to see if you feel like hiking a little further.

I stopped by and saw this when I first moved to Bozeman. I was just curious to see what it was all about. I'm not Buddhist, but to see this was very cool. It just felt peaceful. It is about a 3 1/2 hour drive from Bozeman. It is almost directly north of Missoula.

Livingston
Livingston is directly east of Bozeman on I-90. From Livingston, you can head south and explore the Paradise Valley. There are a lot of really good restaurants in Livingston, and one of the coolest old train depots you'll ever see.
