Get into the holiday spirit with A Christmas Carol, opening Friday, December 7 at The Ellen Theatre and running for two weekends. Details here:

Montana TheatreWorks presents A Christmas Carol at The Ellen, the timeless Charles Dickens classic that is sure to chase away your holiday humbug. A cast of 24, led by Joel Jahnke as Ebenezer Scrooge, will bring you back to the old streets of London, with music and dance and visits by the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future in this award-winning adaptation by Richard Hellesen, music and lyrics by David De Berry.

Eleven performances are slated. Curtain time for Friday and Saturday performances is 7:30 pm. Sunday matinees begin at 3 pm. Audience members are welcome to enjoy holiday goodies and snacks in The Lobby starting one hour before curtain.

Tickets for A Christmas Carol are $19.50 for adults, $17 for seniors (55+) and $14.50 for children 12 and under. All seats for the upper balcony are just $9.50. Reserved seats may be purchased online at www.theellentheatre.com (A $1 Ellen Restoration Fee is added to each ticket).
