Adele reportedly paid a visit to London's famed Abbey Road recording studios to work on a song that will be played over the closing credits of the next James Bong movie, 'Skyfall,' claims British newspaper The Sun. Producers of the latest 007 flick are reportedly keeping her involvement in the soundtrack a secret, but the singer strongly hinted that she was recording a tune for for the film during an appearance on the Britain's 'The Jonathan Ross Show' last fall.

Reports suggest that Adele began working on the song with producer Paul Epworth (Florence + the Machine, Lana Del Rey) soon after and more recently hooked up with Thomas Newman while at Abbey Road. 'Skyfall' director Sam Mendes enlisted Newman -- who previously received Oscar nominations for his work on 'The Shawshank Redemption' and 'Little Women' -- to score the Bond movie.

'Skyfall' opens in the United States on Nov. 9. The movie's release marks the 50th anniversary of the Bond frnachise, which started in 1962 with Sean Connery starring in 'Dr No.' The latest Bond flick, 'Quantum of Solace,' came out in 2008 and featured the theme song 'Another Way to Die' performed by Jack White and Alicia Keys.
