Happy Martin Luther King Jr. Day! Dr. King's lifelong dream of equality, love and respect for all men and women will never be forgotten. His momentous words of passion were integral to the African-American Civil Rights Movement. Here is an excerpt from the last speech he ever gave. He was assassinated the next day (April 4, 1968).

Here's King addressing the importance of the First Amendment and, of course, equality. The speech ends with him talking about his personal mission and relationship with God. Some eerie foreshadowing here, given what happened the next day. Enjoy the view from the mountaintop Reverend King! I hope it's looking better all the time!
