We’ve just started the second-to-last month of 2016 and we’re already starting to hear some bands announce their plans for next summer. Today (Nov. 7), Arcade Fire became the second major rock band to reveal their first concert of 2017.

They’ll be headlining the Isle of Wight Festival on June 10, 2017. According their website, it will be the only U.K. festival appearance for the band in 2017 and, according to founder John Giddings, getting the band was the wish of a dearly departed friend who championed them at the start of their career.

“I’m so happy to have secured Arcade Fire as our first headliner,” he said in a press release. “David Bowie recommended them and I’ve been a fan ever since. Last year was an incredible year and I’m ready for us to come back even better in 2017.”

Although Arcade Fire are the only band on the bill as of now, tickets, for both single-day and the whole weekend, are already on sale. They are currently under “Early Bird” pricing, with travel packages also available. You can get full information at the festival’s website.

While there’s been no news about an upcoming album from Arcade Fire, we do know that they have a handful of new songs completed. Over Halloween weekend, they played an invite-only show for 175 people in New Orleans where they premiered them. Although cell phones were confiscated at the door, the material was described as “driven by percussive-heavy beats with a flavor of disco, had a sharp focus on weighty topics.”

Earlier this morning, Foo Fighters said that they will be playing the NOS Alive Festival in Lisbon, Portugal, in July.
