Arcade Fire's lead man Win Butler has been playing basketball for some time now, previously hosting and participating in the charity game known as 'Pop vs. Jock' held in his hometown of Montreal. In the past, that game has featured the likes of David Byrne, members of Bon Iver and the Strokes.

Now, it looks like the Canadian rocker will be participating in next week's NBA Celebrity All-Star Game at Brooklyn's Barclays Center on Feb. 13. ESPN confirmed the news this morning. Butler is surprisingly good at basketball, as you can see from the video below.

Butler had expressed interest in playing the game in a previous interview with SLAM magazine, which was followed by his post to Twitter which just featured the hashtag "#LetWinPlay."

On a more music-related note, Win's brother and bandmate, Will Butler, will be releasing his debut solo album, 'Policy,' on March 16 via Merge Records, and so far, it hasn't disappointed -- check out his new song, 'Anna,' here.
